The institution manages and maintains public cultural, sport and leisure infrastructure, execute yearly sport program of the Municipality, organize sport practice, recreational sport, other sport activities, cultural and tourist programs, catering and events. Yearly costs of the cultural, tourist, sport and leisure programs, management and maintenance of the sport and leisure infrastructure are 5.024.000 euros.

Sport hall Livade is a central city facility cultural and sport events in the Municipality. The surface of the hall is 2.600 m2. There are 2.000 seats in the hall. The program includes also school sport programs, sport practice, competitions in basketball, handball, volleyball, sport recreation, social, cultural, and entertainment events. Sport schools and courses are organized in the facility. Each year 110.000 users and visitors visit the city hall.

Sport hall »v Kraški« is a sport facility used for school sport programs, sport practice and competitions in team sports and sport recreation. The surface of the hall is 2.000 m2. The stands can host 500 spectators. 40.000 users use the hall each year.

Town stadium Izola has the surface of 10.500 m2. Football field measures 106 m x 66 m. The stadium is well equipped with all the infrastructure, which enables sport practice and competitos. Local football club uses the stadium. The sport facility is used for sport practice and competitions in football. Each year 40.000 users and visitors visit the stadium.

Football stadium Malija has the surface of 9.000 m2. The stadium is equipped with all the infrastructure. Football field measures 104 m x 66 m. The sport facility is used for sport practice and competitions in football. 20.000 users and visitors visit the stadium each year.

Gymnasium Arigoni is a sport facility used for school sport programs, sport practice and competitions in team sports and sport recreation. The surface of the hall is 1.000 m2. 55.000 users use the hall each year.

Sailing club Burja is a central sport facility for sailing in the Municipality. It has surface of 450 m2. It includes offices, dressing rooms and workshop for repairing sailing boats. The facility is used for sport practice, sailing competitions and maintenance of the sailing boats. 25.000 users visit the sailing club per year.

Football playgrounds with artificial grass are central facilities for sport recreation in Izola. 90.000 users use the playgrounds each year. These modern facilities are equipped and used for sport practice and competitions in football. The facility surface 6.000 m2.

Boules alleys Arigoni, Korte and »v Jagodju« are important sport and recreational facilities in the Municipality. Each year 40.500 users and visitors visit the boules alleys. They surface the total area of 1.980 m2. They are used for sport practice, competitions and recreation in boules.
